growing up and growing old are two different things...i have decided long ago that i refuse to grow old but i will do everything to grow up!

it's international teacher's day: happy teachers' day everybody!

i'm telling you, for someone who finds happiness in teaching, there's nothing more touching than hearing these words: happy teachers' day! because it is a sign that i have touched the lives of the people i have encountered. this is where the fulfillment lies, in knowing that people remember me for taking part in their development as proper human beings! that no matter how feisty i was when we still shared three hours per week in a hot, noisy classroom they remember me and what i taught them. it pays to be a teacher, not in money but in fulfillment.
